The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) Limited is informing its valued customers and the general public that it is experiencing an increased number of electricity faults in some areas of the country due to adverse weather conditions. Customers in Zomba, Rumphi, Thyolo, Mwanza, Chikwawa and Kasungu are mostly affected.
Customers are, however, being assured that ESCOM is doing everything possible to rectify the reported faults within a short time.
ESCOM is, therefore, advising its customers to report faults affecting their areas or property to their designated faults reporting centres in their respective districts. Contact information of the fault reporting centres is published in local newspapers. The information can also be accessed from ESCOM’s website www.escom.mw and ESCOM's social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter.
